Mainly composed of high-purity Sodium polyacrylate (≥99%), organic polymers, dispersants, tackifiers, and penetrants.
Application
It is applicable to all TBM projects and can continuously function under different stratum conditions such as cohesive soil strata, sandy soil strata, and mixed strata, adapting to complex and ever - changing geological environments.
Advantages
1. Cost-effectiveness: Powder form has low transportation costs and requires only one-third the dosage of the liquid form.
2. Long-term stability: The modified clay shows a significantly reduced permeability coefficient.
3. Salt and contamination resistance: Effectively mitigates the negative effects of calcium ion–rich groundwater.
4. Thermal stability: Exhibits minimal decomposition below 200°C, making it suitable for high-temperature environments.
Principle
After dissolving in water and being added to the water-soil mixture, it adsorbs onto clay particles, enhances particle cohesion,and forms a polymer network that limits water migration, binding the soil and water into cohesive masses.
