On the afternoon of September 4, a delegation from the Beijing Shield Tunneling Engineering Association—including Executive Vice Chairman Mr. Le Guiping, Executive Secretary-General Ms. Ruan Xia, and Supervisor Prof. Zhu Hongjun—visited the Changsha Operations Center of Fujian Zhongtian Traffic for an inspection and research meeting.
During the symposium, Mr. Zhang Yanbo, General Manager of Fujian Zhongtian, extended a warm welcome to the association leaders and expressed sincere gratitude for their long-standing support to the company.

Following the address, Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Zhang Yantao presented the new products and technologies developed by Fujian Zhongtian’s R&D Center since its establishment, focusing on innovations in the tunneling construction sector:
1.Upgraded “Clay shock Effect” materials and application processes, significantly enhancing performance in shield tunneling operations.
2.Development of “Rapid-Set Effect”, designed to prevent high-pressure water gushing in water-rich geological formations.
3.Pipe Segment Restraint Pile Technology, which effectively limits segment displacement during tunnel construction.
4.Successful development of synchronous two-component grouting plants and additives used in shield tunneling.
5.Creation of a special coating material (“Mudcake Release Agent”) that, when applied to the cutterhead in advance, effectively prevents mudcake formation.
6.Co-development of a “Serpentine Mudcake Removal Robot” with universities, enabling the cleaning of pipes and confined areas that are difficult for manual workers to reach.
In addition, Fujian Zhongtian serves as the distributor for lubricants produced by Shanghai Nator and as the exclusive general agent in China for ZITRON’s ventilation equipment, bringing advanced domestic and international technologies into tunneling construction.

Mr. Le Guiping and Prof. Zhu Hongjun held detailed discussions regarding the performance, functions, and application results of Fujian Zhongtian’s new technologies and products. They also provided valuable suggestions for the promotion and further application of these technologies.
