1. Optimized formulation: Sixth generation Knei Xiao The material requires only 300 kilograms of powder per cubic meter of slurry, a significant reduction compared to the 350–360 kilograms per cubic meter required for the fifth-generation formulation. At the same time, it maintains the same shear strength and viscosity, thereby improving material efficiency.
2. Enhanced Strength: Within 3 minutes after the cementation is complete, the strength of the sixth-generation material continues to increase, ultimately surpassing the strength performance of the fifth-generation material, which stands at 360 kg/m³. This characteristic makes it better suited to meet the operational requirements of shield tunneling machine casings in vibration-prone environments.
3. Extended setting time: Compared to the fifth-generation KneiXiao material, the sixth-generation material has an extended setting time—from 4 seconds to 8 seconds. This improvement enables the grout to fill the narrow gaps between the shield and the surrounding rock more effectively, thereby enhancing construction quality.
