Changsha Zhongtian Transportation attends the National Tunnel and Underground Engineering Construction Technology Innovation Exchange and Observation Conference, showcasing its synchronous dual-grout technology.

From April 9 to April 11, 2021, the "National Symposium on Innovation and Exchange in Tunnel and Underground Engineering Construction Technologies," jointly hosted by China Railway Tenth Bureau Group Co., Ltd., Shandong University, Jinan Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd., and the Training Center of the China Institute for Economic System Reform, was grandly held in Jinan. Changsha Zhongtian Traffic Rock Drilling Technology Service Co., Ltd. participated in this grand event as a co-organizer.

 

 

The opening ceremony was chaired by Wang Aiping, Chief Engineer of China Railway Tenth Bureau Group Co., Ltd. Li Xuemin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Railway Tenth Bureau Group Co., Ltd., delivered the opening address. During the conference, a signing ceremony was held between China Railway Tenth Bureau and the Research Center for Intelligent Construction Technologies in Complex Tunnels and Underground Engineering at Shandong University, followed by the unveiling ceremony for the Research Center for Intelligent Construction Technologies in Complex Tunnels and Underground Engineering.

Meanwhile, Li Shucai, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Vice President of Shandong University, delivered a keynote report on “Detection and Mitigation of Tunnel Water Inrush and Mudburst Hazards.” Yan Jinxiu, President of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA), presented on “International Trends and Development in Tunneling and Underground Space Technologies.” Wang Dujuan, Deputy General Manager of China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd., gave a keynote report titled “Planning and Progress in Intelligent Equipment for Underground Engineering.”

Zhang Yantao, Deputy General Manager of Changsha Zhongtian Traffic Rock Drilling Technical Service Co., Ltd., also delivered a special report titled “Synchronous Grouting Technology for Shield Tunneling” at this conference. Addressing current domestic challenges in synchronous grouting—such as segment uplift, settlement control, and construction in small-radius tunnels—he analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of single-liquid and dual-liquid grouts, with a particular focus on presenting solutions for materials, equipment, and processes related to synchronous dual-liquid grouting.

Professor Xu Mingxin from Shijiazhuang University of Traction delivered a report titled “Reflections on TBM Engineering Practice.”

Zhou Jianjun, deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Tunneling and Excavation Technology, delivered a report titled “Full-Life-Cycle Management of Full-Face Tunnel Boring Machines.”

Ye Chao, Chief Engineer of the Shield Tunneling Division at the Design and Research Institute of China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd., delivered a report titled “Innovative Engineering Practices for Ultra-Large-Diameter Shield Tunnels Across Seas.”

Lin Ping, a senior expert at Ningbo Rail Transit Co., Ltd., delivered a report titled “Innovative Practices in Key System Technologies for Tunnel Boring Machine Tunnels in Rail Transit.”
